Privacy Policy

Done Switch (“we”, “the app”) helps you confirm one daily task. This policy explains what data the app and sync service collect and how it’s used.

Data stored on your device

Task name, done state, alert time, and timezone are stored locally on your iPhone so the switch works offline. Local notifications use that alert time; notification permission is optional.

Account and sync (optional)

If you create an account, we store your email address and a hashed password on our sync API (hosted on Railway, reached via api.doneswitch.app). We also store your switch state (task name, done flag, alert time, timezone) so it can sync across your devices. Passwords are never stored in plaintext.

What we don’t collect

We do not sell personal data. We do not use advertising trackers or analytics SDKs in the app today. We do not request access to contacts, photos, location, or the microphone.

Siri and deep links

The bundled App Intent and doneswitch://flip deep link mark today’s switch done on your device. That action stays on-device unless you are signed in, in which case the updated state may sync to your account.

Retention and deletion

Account data is kept while your account exists. To delete your account and synced switch data, email support@doneswitch.app from the address on the account. Local data is removed when you delete the app.

Children

Done Switch is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
